Cosmetic Tattoo Traning
Cosmetic Tattooing is a challenging, yet incredibly rewarding art.
Just like any passionate artist, such as Katerina Dobriakova at the Permanent Makeup Academy – New Me, this pathway offers numerous opportunities within the beauty industry to committed artists.
Katerina specialises in various types of permanent makeup, including lip blush, eyebrow and eyeliner tattoos, scar camouflage, and many more. She generously imparts her knowledge and skills to students during her cosmetic tattoo training sessions. The extensive knowledge provided in these trainings equips artists to distinguish themselves from their competitors.
Katerina, alongside the ‘New Me Cosmetic Tattoo Academy,’ assists beginners in opening the door to a successful cosmetic tattoo business. Katerina ensures that students receive all the essential information and thorough guidance to establish a solid foundation for their PMU career.
Experienced artists can benefit from Katerina’s tips and tricks to elevate and advance their skills further. The focus lies not only on working with models and addressing challenging areas but also on covering the theoretical aspects. For Beginners
Fundamental Cosmetic Tattoo Training
It’s a 5-day small group (2-4 students) training in a convenient location in Sydney CBD.
In this course, you will learn:
- General and legal aspects of permanent makeup, hygiene & workplace preparation, and client consultation.
- The most up-to-date techniques for ombré powder brows and lip blush (4 techniques in total).
- Hand positioning, variation of tattoo strokes, and latex work.
- Colour theory, tools and equipment choice for each skin type.
- Hands-on work on 4 models (2 for eyebrow tattooing and 2 for lip blush).
- Face proportions and sketching techniques, skin types and structure in relation to cosmetic tattooing.
- Photography and post-processing of your works for social media.
- And much more!
Structure: The first three days of the training are dedicated to the theoretical part and latex practice. This segment can be delivered online (via Zoom) or in-person (based on the student’s preference) from 10 am to 5 pm. The following two days of training will focus on working with models and will be conducted in-person, with a 1:1 session with the trainer, or 2 students and a trainer (your choice!) scheduled from 10 am to 8 pm.
What is included: Certification, a comprehensive student kit with 25 items in it, a manual book, and ongoing support through chat with no time limit.
The starter kit includes: a travel case, a tattoo machine, a power supply, high-quality pigments, sketch pencils and a brush, practice skin, a diffuser bottle, a clip cord sleeve, cohesive tape, gloves, a disposable sheet, pigment cups and much more.

Lip Blush Training
A 2-day training program in a convenient location in Sydney CBD.
DAY 1 (10 am to 5 pm, in-person or via Zoom):
- Introduction to different lip blush techniques.
- Understanding lip skin structure.
- Tools and equipment to use for the procedure.
- In-depth colour theory.
- Identifying and minimising risks associated with the procedure.
- Processing photos and videos for social media visual content.
- Latex work to practice techniques.
DAY 2 (10 am to 6 pm, in person):
- Sketching techniques and common mistakes to avoid.
- Students will perform lip blush on a model.
- Presentation of certificates upon completion of the course.
Structure: The theoretical part and latex work can be delivered online (via Zoom) or in-person (based on the student’s preference), from 10am to 5pm. Work on models is delivered individually 1:1 with the trainer, in person, from 10am to 5pm.
What is included: Certification, a student kit, a manual book, and ongoing support through chat with no time limit.
The starter kit includes: a sketch pencil and a brush, practice skin, 2 (two) high-quality pigments.

Ombre Powder Eyebrow training
A 2-day training program in a convenient location in Sydney CBD.
DAY 1 (10 am to 5 pm, in-person or via Zoom):
- Introduction to 2 different brow techniques.
- Understanding the skin structure in relation to brow tattooing.
- Tools and equipment to use for the procedure.
- In-depth colour theory.
- Identifying and minimising risks associated with the procedure.
- Latex work to practice techniques.
DAY 2 (10 am to 6 pm, in person):
- Sketching techniques and common mistakes to avoid.
- Showcasing of work by the trainer.
- Students will perform brow tattooing on a model.
- Tips on creating visual content for social media, and processing photos and videos.
- Presentation of certificates upon completion of the course.
Structure: The theoretical part and latex work can be delivered online (via Zoom) or in-person (based on the student’s preference), from 10am to 5pm. Work on models is delivered individually 1:1 with the trainer, in person, from 10am to 6pm.

‘Luscious Lips 2.0.’ is a professionally filmed online course to teach a lip blushing technique.

Face-to-face training with Katerina to practice lip blush on a model in Sydney, Australia. Timing to be confirmed individually. The number of models included in this package is limited to 1 (one). Additional practice on models is optional and requires separate payment.
A physical certificate upon completion of the practical training.
A small goodie bag with three lip pigments.
Option 3 – Online Training, Private Session with Katerina “Hands-On Model” and Online Post Support
What is included:

Online chat support with Katerina for 6 months.
6 (six) meeting sessions via Zoom or other online platform where all participants receive answers to their questions from Katerina and communicate with each other, learning from each other’s experiences.
For Experienced Artists
Ombré Powder Brows & Lip Blush
A 1-day (10am-7pm) individual training in a convenient location in Sydney CBD. It includes a theoretical part on tattooing techniques, tools and equipment, as well as hands-on work on models.
Theory part:
- Introduction to 2 different powder brow techniques.
- Introduction to 2 types of lip blush (natural and Ombré).
Hands-On part:
- Sketching techniques and common mistakes to avoid.
- The trainer and a trainee will perform brow tattooing and lip blushing on a model.
- Generating photo and video content.
What is included: Certification, a manual book, and ongoing support through chat with no time limit.

Smokey Eyeliner Training
A 2-day individual training that combines online preparation and work on a model in person with a trainer 1:1 in a convenient location in Sydney CBD.
Day 1 includes preparation online (a theoretical part and latex work).
Day 2 includes work on a model, 1:1 with a trainer.
In this course, you will learn:
- Who suits for the Smokey eyeliner.
- Skin structure and risks associated with eyelid tattooing.
- Tools and equipment to use for the procedure.
- Latex work to practice techniques.
- Sketch.
- The trainer and a trainee will perform shaded eyeliner on a model.

Nano Brows
An individual training that combines online preparation and work on a model in person with a trainer 1:1 in a convenient location in Sydney CBD.
It includes a theoretical part, latex work and work on a model.
In this course, you will learn:

Part 1. Theory part:
1. What does the procedure include. Why touch up is required?
2. Who is a suitable candidate for Nano brows? Alternative way to a Nano brow style – combo technique.
3. Work with oily and porous skin.
4. Tools and equipment.

Part 2. Practical part on paper:

Part 3. Practical part on latex:

Part 4. Online demonstrational work on a model:
1. Demo video (full session – sketch+tattooing).
